TOGETHER

If the phrase “we’re all in this together” now makes you simultaneously question the government while you hear the High School Musical song in your head... 𝘆𝗼𝘂 are probably my people. ⁣
⁣
While I am an avid HSM fan, here’s where 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 is REALLY my jam. ⁣
⁣
I have a team of powerful, driven women that I work with. I use the term “work” loosely. The work we do is focused, it’s fast-paced, and it’s not easy. But it’s simple. And I can hardly call it a job. Because the word “job” gives the connotation that this is 9 to 5, mundane, and involves a cubical. Bleh. Not my vibe. ⁣
⁣
Here’s what I do:⁣
Every day, I 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 with leaders who want to make a difference and impact others’ lives. I troubleshoot any problems they are having, answer questions, and inspire them. ⁣
⁣
Every day, I 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 my team by providing recipes, essential oil tips, or empowerment to take charge of their family’s healthcare. ⁣
⁣
Every day, I 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 people who are interested in a wellness lifestyle. I send them samples to try, guide them through experiencing the oils, and help them feel confident to use these oils in their home. ⁣
⁣
I work 20 hours a week. I don’t have to. Many of my leaders do more like 10 hours a week. I wear a lot of pajamas and leggings. I rarely wear shoes. I take bathroom breaks when I want, eat snacks when I want, and can take care of kiddos as needed. ⁣
⁣
We fit this business into our lives, so that we can also still be kick-a** moms, spouses, fur mommas, friends, or whatever roles we hold. Those roles support our title of “Wellness Advocate”. Often, those roles, and the people involved, are what sent us down this path to begin with. ⁣
⁣
That’s it. We do it together. We cheer each other on. We change the world, one drop at a time. ⁣
⁣
Come change it with us! ⁣
Now is the time. I’ve got a spot saved for you at the table. 💜

Join me next Tuesday to learn more!

    Kourtney Owens

I am a mommy of  SEVEN (yes 7) beautiful kids! They are amazing, wonderful, hilarious & the greatest babies I could ask for! I am married to my best friend & high school sweetheart, Michael.

In 2010 I began a blog as an outlet for my writing... and also to talk about how cute my kids were. I had no idea where it would take me. In 2012, after the birth of our 5th child, we began Wonderfully Made Birth. That same year, we received an Autism diagnosis for our 3rd child. A year later, in 2013, we joined doTERRA International as Wellness Advocates. The journey is not easy, but it is ours. Join me as I record our crazy life, inspire other mommas, & laugh along the way!

    Interests
I love to craft. I love to decorate. I am passionate about natural living & natural birthing. Sometimes I write stuff. I plan parties like my life depended on it. My favorite color is pink. My house is definitely NOT taupe. I typically cannot keep plants alive. I am only allowed to have dogs as pets because all others tend to have the same end result as the plants. Luckily my track record with kids is pretty good! Also, I drink a lot of coffee. And I really like tacos.
