Neroli

Neroli essential oil... I know I had never heard of it. However, now that I know what it can do, I'm wondering where it's been!

Here are some fun facts:

• Contains high amounts of "Linalool", which is a property in oils that decreases neuro-excitability. So, in simple terms... it's calming.
• It also is known to support a healthy intestinal inflammatory response
• The same anti-inflammatory properties, make  it an extremely effective option for puffiness, water retention or irritation in late pregnancy
• Neroli has many emotional benefits, one of those being it supports a smooth transition through new stages of life. It can additionally improve hormone concentrations. SO it is a wonderful option for new moms!!
• And another fun use... it encourages feelings for intimacy!

Those are some great uses for a normal, everyday person. Something else I find fascinating is that Neroli helps regulate healthy cell production! It also may regulate mTOR, which is an important regulator of cell death, also called apoptosis. So, if you are someone struggling with the "bad cells" trying to over take the "good cells", this is one to consider!
