Let Me Be Your Fairy Godmother Today...

When I was a little girl, I watched Cinderella on repeat. I was captivated. When the step-sisters couldn’t carry a tune, I rolled my eyes. When the wicked step-mother destroys her mother’s dress so Cinderella can’t go to the ball, I cried too. My heart still melts when she meets Prince Charming. Even as an adult, I still get goosebumps when the duke comes, the slipper shatters, and then Cinderella says “but you see, I have the other slipper!” Cue music.
✨
Two things I still love about my childhood favorite movie... the dream and the comeback. She would look out her window at the castle, hoping and dreaming of the day when she could escape; when she could live the life she was meant for. But Cinderella didn’t just dream. She put feet to that dream (glass slippered feet to be exact). Her fairy godmother spoke hope over her story and Cinderella hopped in an enchanted pumpkin to make her dreams happen. It didn’t come together right away. A lot of crap went down between the dream and the comeback. But she held on. She grasped that one slipper and didn’t let go. Then when everything shattered, she knew this was the moment. Boom! The comeback!
✨
If I may, let me be your fairy godmother today. Let me breathe a little hope over your story.
✨
ITS GOING TO HAPPEN. Everything will come together. Your dreams are not in vain. They were put in your heart for a purpose. They were placed there for the right time. Be patient. Work on yourself. You may need new tools and skills for the dream season. You may need growth to be able to step into the dream. Sometimes our dream come a few sizes too big. Maybe it’s just time for a growth spurt. Or maybe it’s about time for that comeback. You’ve got this. Hang in there. Keep dreaming. Keep working. It’s coming.

I am a mommy of  SEVEN (yes 7) beautiful kids! They are amazing, wonderful, hilarious & the greatest babies I could ask for! I am married to my best friend & high school sweetheart, Michael.

In 2010 I began a blog as an outlet for my writing... and also to talk about how cute my kids were. I had no idea where it would take me. In 2012, after the birth of our 5th child, we began Wonderfully Made Birth. That same year, we received an Autism diagnosis for our 3rd child. A year later, in 2013, we joined doTERRA International as Wellness Advocates. The journey is not easy, but it is ours. Join me as I record our crazy life, inspire other mommas, & laugh along the way!

    Interests
I love to craft. I love to decorate. I am passionate about natural living & natural birthing. Sometimes I write stuff. I plan parties like my life depended on it. My favorite color is pink. My house is definitely NOT taupe. I typically cannot keep plants alive. I am only allowed to have dogs as pets because all others tend to have the same end result as the plants. Luckily my track record with kids is pretty good! Also, I drink a lot of coffee. And I really like tacos.
