Have Courage

I’ve given up a lot. I’ve hesitated more than I’d like to admit. I’ve had reasons (read: excuses) every time. The funny thing about being a Type A, extroverted, outgoing woman, who is more comfortable on a stage in front of hundreds than in a small conversation... people have no idea the insecurities that come along with it. While an introverted person who doesn’t like crowds may get nauseous just thinking about standing in front of a crowd... I get nauseous when I think about my BIG GOALS & my SPARKLING STAGE PRESENCE & everything else I put out there into the world coming to a screeching halt if I... yep... fail. My least favorite F word. I have a tendency to become paralyzed by the thought of letting people down. I have crumbled in the floor of my shower on the hard days when I fear that maybe I’m actually not ready for big things & I’m just a faker. Always faking it... never making it. Well, guess what? Those are LIES!! They’re lies for me, and I know there are lies you believe too! So. Here’s our new plan. WE HAVE COURAGE. WE DO THE HARD THINGS. We lean into our support system. We trust in God. Whatever we do, we will not give up. We look at those made up stories & lies in the face. Then we say NO! NOT TODAY! THAT IS NOT MY STORY! Whatever fake news you’ve been listening to... the thoughts that have been creeping in... it’s time to make a REAL story. Let’s write a story that changes lives. ✨ The hard part is having the courage to try. I’d say, it’s not the trying that’s the most difficult though. It’s the continuing to try... and wake up tomorrow to do the same... day after day... Monday after Monday... As always, thank you @msrachelhollis for speaking this truth over our lives.

I am a mommy of  SEVEN (yes 7) beautiful kids! They are amazing, wonderful, hilarious & the greatest babies I could ask for! I am married to my best friend & high school sweetheart, Michael.

In 2010 I began a blog as an outlet for my writing... and also to talk about how cute my kids were. I had no idea where it would take me. In 2012, after the birth of our 5th child, we began Wonderfully Made Birth. That same year, we received an Autism diagnosis for our 3rd child. A year later, in 2013, we joined doTERRA International as Wellness Advocates. The journey is not easy, but it is ours. Join me as I record our crazy life, inspire other mommas, & laugh along the way!

    Interests
I love to craft. I love to decorate. I am passionate about natural living & natural birthing. Sometimes I write stuff. I plan parties like my life depended on it. My favorite color is pink. My house is definitely NOT taupe. I typically cannot keep plants alive. I am only allowed to have dogs as pets because all others tend to have the same end result as the plants. Luckily my track record with kids is pretty good! Also, I drink a lot of coffee. And I really like tacos.
