4TH of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love the decorations, the summer food, the parade, time with family, and the fireworks.

If you are looking for a recipe to make for Independence Day, try this easy fruit flag with Wild Orange yogurt pretzels! This recipe is YUM! Plus, it's healthy and super easy to make.

Ingredients
2 pints raspberries, washed
2 pints blueberries, washed
2 pounds strawberries, washed
1 bag cherries, washed
24 ounces pretzels
2 cups powdered sugar
4 cups plain Greek yogurt
3 cups vanilla protein powder
4–7 drops Wild Orange oil

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 250°F.
  2. Combine the sugar, yogurt, protein powder, and Wild Orange essential oil.
  3. Dip the pretzels into the yogurt mixture one at a time, using chopsticks or tongs.
  4. Arrange the coated pretzels on a wire cooking rack with a baking sheet underneath it.
  5. Turn the oven off and put in the wire rack and baking sheet.
  6. Leave the oven door slightly ajar.
  7. After several hours, when the coating is hardened and set, take the pretzels out of the oven.

Note: Make sure to fill the stripes with stacked fruit and pretzels, since abundance looks best.

  8. Place the blueberries in the small square dish on the upper left-hand corner of the serve-ware you wish to use.
  9. Fill the space to the right with raspberries, then do a stripe of Wild Orange yogurt pretzels underneath.
  10. Do a stripe of strawberries, another stripe of Wild Orange yogurt pretzels, and top it off with a row of cherries on the bottom.

I love delicious, healthy, summer foods. Things like cucumbers, watermelon, strawberries, peppers, and pineapple fill my tummy all summer long. Here's a new recipe I've tried out and LOVED. It's full of hydrating and nourishing veggies, himalayan salt, fresh basil, and doTERRA Lemon essential oil. Enjoy!

XOXO

I am a mommy of  SEVEN (yes 7) beautiful kids! They are amazing, wonderful, hilarious & the greatest babies I could ask for! I am married to my best friend & high school sweetheart, Michael.

In 2010 I began a blog as an outlet for my writing... and also to talk about how cute my kids were. I had no idea where it would take me. In 2012, after the birth of our 5th child, we began Wonderfully Made Birth. That same year, we received an Autism diagnosis for our 3rd child. A year later, in 2013, we joined doTERRA International as Wellness Advocates. The journey is not easy, but it is ours. Join me as I record our crazy life, inspire other mommas, & laugh along the way!

    Interests
I love to craft. I love to decorate. I am passionate about natural living & natural birthing. Sometimes I write stuff. I plan parties like my life depended on it. My favorite color is pink. My house is definitely NOT taupe. I typically cannot keep plants alive. I am only allowed to have dogs as pets because all others tend to have the same end result as the plants. Luckily my track record with kids is pretty good! Also, I drink a lot of coffee. And I really like tacos.
