So here’s what happened last fall...
• summer was rough
• I have a lot of kids
• I survived back to school
So I scheduled a long weekend intentionally. For 2 extra days I did things like sleeping in, sleeping in a bed by myself, not caring for my precious (but often demanding) littles, drinking lots of water, going to the pool, going to the beach, getting lots of sunshine, and taking all the deep breaths. Sure, this trip was a chance to teach an oils class for my sister in law. It was also a chance to do a little self-care. So, I chose BOTH! 🌟
Self-care can look like a weekend trip. It can look like a nap. It can look like eating healthy. It can look like getting your haircut. It can look like going to Target. It can look like smelling oils when you’re stressed. It can look like going for a run or doing yoga. It can look like dinner with a girlfriend or a date with your husband. It can look like whatever YOU want it to.
You can choose both. You can choose work + rest. You can choose them + you. But you have to make YOU a choice. LADIES, give yourself the option for self-care and then CHOOSE YOURSELF sometimes. You are worth being a choice. 🌟

I love to craft. I love to decorate. I am passionate about natural living & natural birthing. Sometimes I write stuff. I plan parties like my life depended on it. My favorite color is pink. My house is definitely NOT taupe. I typically cannot keep plants alive. I am only allowed to have dogs as pets because all others tend to have the same end result as the plants. Luckily my track record with kids is pretty good! Also, I drink a lot of coffee. And I really like tacos.
